Qatar Academy Community Performs Salat Al-Istisqa

Qatar Academy- Doha performed  the Rain Seeking Prayer (earlier today) where the Islamic Studies and Arabic teachers prayed together with the students in the primary  and  Senior School.
Mr.Faisal Al Qahtani who  is Islamic Teacher  in QA led the  prayer. He have delivered a short message on the importance of this prayer ritual and how it is a prophetic tradition and that it is a great reminder for Muslims about their need for Allah’s mercy in all matters of life specially at this time of the year when we are experiencing shortage of rain. During this time, the students prayed for Allah to protect this land and send upon us helpful, wholesome and healthy rain; beneficial and not harmful.
